4 / 5 The location isn't in a busy area, but if you're looking for quiet and beautiful views, it's a good choice. The staff only speak Spanish, so adding them on WhatsApp for room information is helpful. However, you'll need to be patient, as the first-floor door doesn't lock, so be careful if you're leaving luggage!
There's only one shower room for all guests, so you'll need to wait a bit. More shower rooms would be a good option, as would floor mats!
1 / 5 We are French. We booked on Booking.com. Yesterday, when we arrived around 4:30 p.m., no one was there to greet us, so we called the owner to find out how to check in. She didn't try to understand our request and hung up. I sent two emails, which went unanswered. It's unacceptable that someone could behave like this. Fortunately, there were Spanish pilgrims who helped us find a solution. Furthermore,
- No light in the bathroom
- Broken roller blind
- 1 blanket for 2 beds
- Insufficient toilet paper for the number of people.
- 1 shower for 12 people!
Upstairs bathrooms, the carpets need replacing; it's a disgrace.
The price of the room is not justified.
1 / 5 The worst night and accommodation of my life. It's shameful they rent a place like this.
- The mattresses were from the 90s, noisy and old with springs. You moved and they made a noise, and the springs were digging into you.
- There was no light in the bathroom, so you couldn't get ready early in the morning.
- One bathtub for six rooms with 2 to 3 people. Waiting in line to bathe.
- The shower hose was broken, the shower mat and curtain were yellow from being so old.
- There were no blankets. I tried to call the owner, but her cell phone was off.
- You could hear absolutely everything: the water from the drainpipe, the doors closing...
And all this for a room for two people, paying 50 EUROS!!! I've done the Camino de Santiago and stayed in other hostels or apartments with private bathrooms in much better and more modern conditions, and I've even paid much less (an average of 30 euros).
I hope this comment helps the owners of this place take this into account and make an investment that doesn't focus solely on their own profit.
And I'd advise you, as a pilgrim, not to stay here, as you won't be comfortable after a long day on the trail.
3 / 5 We booked a room with a private bathroom, which had a bathtub but no screen or curtain. The room had a double bed, spacious and clean. It didn't have a TV, but we didn't mind since we were here to walk the Camino. It's about 10 minutes from the town square. By the way, you have to check in online, as there's no reception, and they send you the keys. There's no elevator.
The only negative we noticed was the poor soundproofing in the rooms; you could hear everything from the adjacent rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. If it weren't for that, we would have given it a higher rating. The bathtub also lacked a screen or curtain. It doesn't have a stamp to put on the pilgrim's certificate.
1 / 5 Dirty sheets and towels.
Shared bathroom with shower on another floor.
No one came to greet us; the front door was open, and we had to knock to find out how to get into the room.
The location is far from the center and on a long, steep hill.
A lot of noise from other rooms and the hallway.
