VISTALEGRE HOTEL

This hotel exceeded our expectations due to the staff going above & beyond to help us. Laura & her colleague on reception were so helpful & made our stay in portomarin really outstanding. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent with plenty of everything you could want. Highly recommended due to the professionalism, kindness and helpful ways of the staff who provided great recommendations for our onwards travel also.

A beautiful hotel based on the Camino. After a long day of walking we had a lovely warm welcome from the receptionist who couldn’t have been more helpful. We used the spa facilities for €12 each which granted us a private session with the jacuzzi, sauna and shower room which was very needed and there was no rush for us to leave at the end of the hour. The breakfast was excellent, however you needed to book the night before due to the limited space and the staff could not have been more efficient. The views from the terrace at the front were stunning and allowed you to be able to watch the pilgrims coming in over the course of the afternoon and evening.

Very cranky breakfast host. No language barrier. Chastised us in front of other patrons for taking a pastry and banana to go as we left for Camino walk. We are light breakfast eaters and have never had an issue before. Kind of an unpleasant start. Buen Camino🙏🏻 The hotel room was 5/5Please ensure that you post your policy regarding take away food at breakfast. Never had this issue before or since. Breakfast picnic packed for us for our stay twice now

It’s very pretty and nice. Rooms have a lot of space . Just missing eggs. They don’t have a kitchen so breakfast is cold. Lady at check in very kind. It have a spa and expensive laundry

Bright & cheerful reception. My room no5 was very close to the reception. The windows were into an atrium. Bed very comfortable and a great shower. Towels were lovely and soft. There is a small spa too so pack a costume. Breakfast was very nice too.
