I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. Estrella was very kind and welcoming, and she made me feel at home right away. You can feel the love and care she puts into this place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and friendly stay.

Natalia was very kind and welcoming. She shared an affirmation card when you check in and even draws on the cello to make it special. 🩷 I had a rainy cold day and she brought in an extra heater and comforter for me to warm up. The room was lovely. She offered me cake when I registered. I highly recommend.

I stayed at Albergue Estella Guia during the first week of my Camino de Santiago. The albergue was really nice, quiet and with a vast offer of services: clean beds, bathrooms and common spaces, the opportunity to have a massage (much needed after some days of hiking), tasty and generous breakfast. Natalia’s hospitality has been superb, she made my pilgrim friends and I feel at ease and at home from the first moment we saw her. Highly recommended for a great stay in Estella.

I had an amazing experience here, the owner is very sweet woman and treats guests like family. She offered me pasta as she had cooked too much also checked in on me as I was a solo traveller. Very relaxing vibe

I spent a night here as a pilgrim not used to hostel living and I would say it was a good experience overall. I was warmly welcomed and showed to my bed in the 4-bed dorm, which was very clean. I shared the room with 3 other women. The other room had 7 beds, and there were 2 more rooms with 2 and 3 beds each. For all of these beds, there are only 2 bathrooms. When I arrived, cold and wet from the rain, I had to wait several hours to be able to use the shower, and then by the time I did, the water was barely warm. I don’t know if this is a general issue or if I was just last and unlucky. The shower and toilet are in one kind of room with a door, so some people would go into the shower, close the door to the cubicle, which meant the toilet also cannot be used anymore. Someone was also blow drying their hair in that space which meant we had to wait for shower AND toilet until they were done. The bunk beds had metal frames and they made very loud noises when touched or banged on. The drawers below the beds are also incredibly loud when opening and closing them. They offer a wonderful massage for an extra fee which I highly recommend after a long day of walking. There’s a kitchen which offers a breakfast, but I didn’t order it so can’t comment there. There’s also a communal terrace which we couldn’t enjoy due to rain. I tried making a cup of tea in the kitchen but the kettle was filled with milk… I give 4 stars for location as the hostel is situated at the very edge of the town, but also close to the beginning of the walk on the next day, and steps away from the bridge. This part is for pilgrims and other hostel-goers: Please be mindful of the amount of time you spend in the shower knowing there are other people queuing outside. When there is a sign asking you to clean up after yourself, please do so and don’t leave the wet floor and your hair all over the shower for the next person to deal with. Please clean the toilet after using it. Please respect people’s rest and don’t start packing and repacking your backpack at 5am in the morning. Thank you and buen Camino.
