The location was fine, however sleeping in the rooms was a bit of a nightmare, 12 people in a room at capacity, we had all of the room windows shut and the room got hot and stuffy real quick. Even after we ask our neighbors to slide the windows open the room still got hot. The shutters were not rolled up so there was no air flow and no fan. The bed springs would make loud noises as you shifted weight, and I felt a bit insecure without side rails to prevent me from rolling off the single mattress from the top bunk. At 9 euros it was an amazing deal. The hostel has a common room, a kitchen, laundry machines and a backyard garden. We had some rowdy italians in the kitchen who we could still heard from our dormitory. I don’t know what could be done, but the noise persisted past 10 pm.
Our first night on the Camino (this was written two months after the Camino) and it was a perfectly fine municipal albergue. I had a loud snorer next to me. The beds were okay. Bathrooms okay. The back garden was very nice and I like the large kitchen. Pretty pleased with this place.
Insects everywhere, packed room, dodgy bunk bed ladders with no side rail and a sharp drop to top it off. Do not miss this no-nonsense albergue if you want the most authentic Camino experience for just €9!
A proper Camino Albergue. Beds are noisy and rather dangerous to climb haha. The rooms are packed tight. Showers are cold. It was €9 per bed.
day 6 and again a great place to see lots of sights beds good clean showers toilets also hand washing facility and a large out door area for hanging wet clothes and an even bigger out door area for relaxing vending machines and kitchen
