La Plaza Hotel offers a cozy retreat, but not without its fair share of imperfections. My room was well-furnished and came with two comfortable beds. However, the ‘terrace’ mentioned in the description was a bit misleading—essentially an oversized window with barely enough space for a person to stand. On the plus side, the shower provided a steady flow of hot water, which was certainly welcome. Unfortunately, this was somewhat overshadowed by the broken shower head holder, making for an awkward shower experience. When it comes to value, La Plaza leans toward the pricey side, especially for a hotel offering amenities that could be considered fairly standard. In summary, La Plaza Hotel has its merits and drawbacks. The room was pleasant and the shower generally good, but the experience was marred by minor annoyances and a higher-than-expected price point. Consider this hotel if convenience and basic comfort are your primary criteria.
Nice rooms. Ours had a little terrace you could sit outside. Only negative was the shower. The hostal could do well by replacing the shower head since it was cracked and not functioning well, which also resulted in water on the bathroom floor. The associated restaurant/bar was a great addition with friendly staff and good food.
Not sure why all the negative reviews. Place was very clean. Terrace looks out to old Church. Good wifi. Friendly staff. Although not perfect as mattress are a little noisy but I am super happy with this place.
Comfortable room. Short walk to resturants. No Air- con though.
Good, comfortable and quiet place to spend a night. The man who gave me the keys to the room (in a bar two blocks from the hostel) and the boy who helped me with the suitcases were very friendly. Maybe it's a little expensive for what it is, but you can easily find worse things, and these did the job well.
