Outstanding in its class. Comfortable beds, clean and filled with character. I loved that I could close off the bedroom and heat to sleep cool but keep the hall and bathroom warm. The bar was fun, good drinks selection, good service. Dinner was great, I enjoyed the risotto starter, tender beef cheeks main and flan for desert. My only negative was the house red served with dinner was not great. But the red I had earlier in the bar was excellent. Breakfast was perfect send-off for the day's hike up the hill on my next leg of the Camino.
Had the menu of the day. I chose spaghetti bolognaise for starter, pork for main, lemon flan for dessert, 1/4 litre red wine for €16. Good food. There is also a veggie menu for €17. I wasn't staying in the hotel but it looks nice.
We ate there on Easter Sunday. A very good and delicious meal. We chose a soup and some beef stew. Jose was excellent in serving us the food and smiling and polite. Pilgrims, stop there for eat and drink!
Excellent restaurant on the Camino de Santiago. Great prices and very good food. Not the usual heated frozen food. Everything was prepared on-house. Fully recommend it.
Awful experience. Owner/manager too busy out the front of the hotel to provide assistance. No assistance with my suitcase when I had an injury and asked for help . Told bad luck, only 10 steps. Lack of kindness or compassion. Also told I had to eat in the dining room (more steps) to then see other people eating in the bar (where I wanted to eat as less steps). Was told that apparently their insurance doesn’t cover them lifting cases.
