Great people and hosts. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Environment is peaceful with lots of space outside. Really good people. Remarkable! Rooms are OK and basic. Can easily hand wash your clothes. Please remember this is contribution albergue. It is pilgrimage, not tourism. So please expect things - and mostly adjust your expectations - accordingly. Be grateful, not demanding or arrogant. Be open and kind. Interestingly, one gentleman during my presence "kind of lost it" briefly in the morning because he thought others were snoring and chatting (while frankly it was the first albergue were I didn't really hear people snoring 😊). In all fairness this has absolutely nothing to do with the albergue (could have happened any place). They tried to manage it the best they can. It was quite a show, and part of the overall Camino experience I guess 😊 Important to say that he was not a bad person. A place I recommend. Arrive early so you can enjoy the relaxing environment. And mingle among one of the nicest crowd you will find on the Way! Buon Camino 😊

A charming albergue in a great location. The volunteer hosts were very fun and friendly and enthusiastic. They generously offered afternoon tea, apples from the trees in their garden, and a good breakfast. There’s a great kitchen, common area, place to hand wash and dry clothes, and a pleasant garden.

Beautiful, tranquil albergue run by a British confraternity. Price is donativo. There was a communal tea in the late afternoon, along with a simple breakfast offered in the morning. It was spotless and the private backyard was quite amazing.

Absolutely wonderful place. A donativo, it provides more than most albergues. A beautiful garden (where we could put up a hammock!), high tea and biscuits every day, a well-stocked kitchen and breakfast in the morning. The showers are also good and all contain shower gel. The people that work there are also incredibly kind and welcoming. An easy 5* - one of the best places I stayed on Camino

A truly special place, next to a 12th century monastery, with beautiful grounds. The hospitaleros are so kind. Not to be missed!
