4 / 5 Delightful hotel and wonderful hosts. The beds are very comfortable, rooms clean and the host provided delicious dinner. Highly recommend.
3 / 5 🌿 A heartfelt review – with hope for improvement
I stayed one night at Hotel Vive Tu Camino, a simple and quiet place managed by an elderly couple who clearly care about pilgrims. They welcomed us kindly, and I could feel their effort and dedication – something I truly respect.
The location is central, and the atmosphere was peaceful. The room was reasonably clean, although the building is quite old and would benefit from some renovation.
Unfortunately, I later discovered that I had been bitten by bedbugs, which I believe I picked up during my stay here. It's difficult for me to write this, especially knowing how hard it must be to run a hotel at their age – but I feel a responsibility to share this honestly, not out of criticism, but as a gentle warning and a call for action.
🙏 I truly hope they can get support to address the issue, because with a bit of help, this place could become a warm and safe stop on the Camino – something both pilgrims and the hosts deserve.
4 / 5 Probably the cleanest albergue I've stayed in! The beds are comfy, the food was good, owners are friendly, and the shower was hot! I took one star off only because no matter how you try, you can't leave quietly because of either the noisy bed, noisy floorboards, or the automatic light that turns on when you open the bedroom door. It is almost impossible to not wake up everyone else in the room if you want to leave early. I would still highly recommend this albergue!
4 / 5 The rooms are basic, but the lady that runs the place is great, dinner was very enjoyable and it's right across from a nice little Cafe bar
3 / 5 Was quite an unusual experience. On one hand bathrooms were very clean as well as the whole place. On the other we woke up to the surprise of a water-cut but sadly noone from management present to help out
