Best burgers on the Camino. Soup is rather bland. GOAT cheese salad is delicious, but make sure they understand manchego as opposed to calamari… they sound similar on Spanish.
We came here for dinner, with some special requests. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and didn't bother to accommodate our needs. There is a good selection of nice food, and the meals we had were tasty and plenty. The beer on tab was nice too. It feels very authentic here, just the right place to recharge after a long walk.
Rooms were average but the dinner was not very great. Portions were not very big. As with most places on the Camino, skip the breakfast as it’s not worth 6 euro. All you will get is a single piece of cheese, a single piece of ham and a single slice of toast with a cup of coffee and orange juice - you might as well go to the first market in the next town and get an entire loaf of bread, a whole pack of meat and cheese and a coffee for less than six
If you're hiking the Camino and not picked up food then this is your only option really on the first night, £14 will get you a very small very basic meal and a few glasses of wine , it's ok , waitress though is very moody
We stayed here in September 1, 2024. The room was very basic. We sat on the bed and the slates came loose (fixed this ourselves). The worst was the bathroom was mouldy and smelled badly. Didn’t get a wink of sleep due to the bar noise and then subsequent clean up. Would not recommend.
