Wow! For a Compostela hostel? A 6/5. It’s clean, modern, the reception is kind and helpful. The rooms are quite private, with only 4 people in a large room (even separate levels in the room: 2 up and 2 downstairs), with private toilet and shower per room. Equipped with towel dryer, radiator, storage, a table and so on. It’s great. Fantastic for this price. A little miss - the lack of a kettle to boil some water in the common areas.
Barman seemed to be in a bad mood most of the time. Although this was to everyone not just us. Rooms newly decorated. Bed very comfy. Nice and quiet. Food very good value 11 euros for a big plate. Very welcome stay after our long day in the mountains. On the plus side the receptionist was very welcoming.
Excellent service and very helpful when we were needing help to find our way our of the forest and to the hotel. Thank you for your support. Great food and staff

I’d give the rooms a 4 star, but the front desk people were very helpful. That bumped them up to a 5 star. Not much choice around, so it was a welcome stop after a long walk. We had lunch in the restaurant. I wasn’t expecting much and was really very surprised. It was excellent and reasonably prices. The waitress was exceptional and friendly.
