Amazing and beautiful stop on the Camino. Make sure you make a reservation since it gets full very soon. This place is so beautiful, spacious and full of history inside. The rooms are very comfy (I believe all of them are max 4 people) and our room had its own bathroom (I believe all room have). The volunteers are very kind, lovely people who welcome you with the warmest hospitality. There is a communal dinner and a small get to know each other before that.

Place is perfect and a well deserved stay for your half way point of doing the Camino. The day I arrived, was my toughest day yet, and I was welcomed with open arms and received so much help with getting to a place that could check out my knee. The rooms were very clean. The dinner was absolutely amazing, many options to choose from (because pilgrims went and bought what they wanted to add to it, which isn’t required), and we all had a huge pilgrim buffet. It was a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend contributing towards these kind of places when you can. The past pilgrims made it so we can stay, and it’s our turn to do the same for the next. Buen Camino. 🌸

We had a nice evening and dinner here. Most of the staff and priests were very pleasant people. Also, it was cheap at just EUR 10 a person as the min charge. Was more like EUR 70 after we bought dinner and gave donations but that’s not a requirement. Then, in the morning, to our surprise an old man opened our door and came into our room while were finishing packing at 8:12 AM and started shouting at us that we had to be out in “TEN MINUTES” while flashing our lights on and off. After the lights, he spent a moment manically waving his hands with ten fingers extended before storming out. It was a very odd experience. We continued to get ready and cleaned the room then were out

Lovely place, very spiritual atmosphere rarely seen on the Camino. There are optional activities for pilgrims like a coffee at 5, mass at 6.30, pilgrims blessings at 7, communal dinner at 8 and breakfast on donation. Run by priests and nuns so you can talk about the meaning of be pilgrimage, but nothing is pushed on you. The place is beautiful and the rooms are small with attached bathrooms. Highly recommended stop on the Camino!

More than a mere albergue this was a true haven where my aching body and soul could rest. Many pilgrims could share their deep reasons for their journey. Meals were a heartwarming exchange. The community lives the hospitality that I was searching for in a way that incites a conversion to their faith without being intrusive for people not interested.
