Stayed here during my camino. A bit difficult to find because there was no sign and the pin on Google was on a different location, but the problem was sorted out after I called the owner. I was promptly met and brought to the casa. The room assigned to me was very spacious with a huge comfy bed. There were two shared bathrooms, one had a tub, and both were very clean and spacious. There was a backyard with a clothesline. The common area and kitchen had everything that a pilgrim staying here would need. It was also very quiet, probably because I was the only one staying there at the time. Convenient location near the main albergue, which is also the tourism office where pilgrims can get half-compostelas.

If you're looking for a good and peaceful stay, this is NOT the place. This is my second time staying here while traveling, and neither time has the owner been friendly. But this was the worst. Booking.com says checkout is by midnight. I couldn't walk because I felt unwell, so I decided to try to sleep in, which wasn't possible because before 10:00 AM they tried to open my door without knocking and very roughly because it was locked. What if it's not locked? Where is the respect and privacy? The owner returned 40 minutes later and this time banged on the door extremely loudly, telling me I had to leave so they could clean. I pointed out that the payment slip he gave us also said checkout was by midnight, and he kept insisting I had to leave earlier, even after I showed him the checkout rules he himself posted, and even though it was the only room occupied. Horrible experience. If you have the opportunity to stay somewhere else, don't hesitate. Besides, the cleanliness of the place isn't the best. I don't usually give reviews of the places I visit, but it's good to prevent other people from having bad experiences.

The person who greeted us (not the owner) was unfriendly and rude. He questioned our reservation, which was made through Booking.com, and it seemed as if we were trying to trick them by booking a smaller number of guests. The heating was not turned on, and we had to turn on the thermostat. Considering the temperature was 5-7°C when we arrived, it would have been appreciated if they had turned it on themselves. The kitchen was dirty, and the refrigerator was unchecked, filled with food from previous guests.

We had a fantastic four-day stay. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. Great value for money. Sunny and clean. Highly recommended.
