A gem of a place to stay. Ck in requires a phone call for entry, but hostess is speedy and friendly. Room was clean with nice shower and bath. Conveniently located. Serendipitously the self serve breakfast was a treat with yogurt, cereal, espresso and even tea & juice. Perfect for the hungry peregrino. Friendly & helpful hostess. I would stay again if I get back to Shagun
But of a strange check-in. I was sent a code to access the building and then told to go upstairs. Our room door had our name on it, but the people in the other 2 rooms did not, so they had to phone the host who told them to take either room. Property is rustic, room was spacious with a large bathroom and a small balcony. Breakfast was do it yourself but there was plenty of choice. An ideal location for the Camino. My only complaint was the number of loose floor tiles in the room.
Good location. No reception available except by phone from 2-4 but we were able to get someone. They did send a message with a door code but they had sent it the same day after 9 am and we had left WiFi by then. There was no one there for the most part. There was a serve your own breakfast with breads and crackers. I appreciated the yogurt.
This was not a good place to stay. No one to greet you or check you in. Ants in our room. Breakfast was a do it yourself white bread in a small room barely room to sit down. WiFi did not work. Clutter everywhere - plants, dishes, “stuff” - felt unsafe. Beware if this “hotel”.
Lovely small boutique hotel close to restaurants, bakeries and all shopping needs. A warm comfortable oasis along the Camino de Santiago. All-day breakfast with beverages. Large bathroom.
