The food doesn't match with how the place looks, or the other way around... either way, I ate a brilliant meal. And service was amazing. It was a busy night and everyone was around the entrance, drinking, having fun... which feels a bit weird to then sit alone at a table half a metre away. But so be it... I had delicious leeks as a starter... really good. And choose the bacalhau for main. This came with caramelised garlic, which was funny translated in English. Either way, it was delicious, although one slice of tomato as vegetables was kind of funny. The dessert was rice pudding, but pre-made and as such in the freezer, with some suspicious ice cream on top. Definitely not of the same level as the rest. All in all very tasty but with room to improve.

Best food and amazing service in all Sahagún without doubt! Wonderful friendly family of brothers run this bar/restaurant in the main square. Exceptional value menu del día or try the amazing roast lamb but almost even better still is a chunk of Spanish omelette and a coffee for breakfast. The warm gooey creamy omelette is one of the best I've tasted so I look forward to breakfast here any time I'm in town. Try it!!
Incredibly good value for money and very kind, helpful restaurant staff that can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend an individual room at hostel if you’re stopping in Sahagún as part of El Camino De Santiago. The rooms are a little dated and in need of repair in some parts but it’s a perfect, central location for dinner and for you to continue on your way. A small breakfast of a coffee, pastry or tostada is included in the low season €30 habitación individual room rate.
Wonderful local food, great customer service, really excellent find in a very lovely small village.
