This place was fine until the next morning when I woke up to find bedbug bites all over my legs! As the day went on it got worse! They need to change the hygiene at this hostel as I used my own sheets, but there's old blankets that sit around and the sheets permanently sit on the bed and is probably never washed. It was a big mistake for me to book this place despite seeing the warnings! They knew of the problem, and didn't adequately deal with it. Bad service and bad business. Don't stay here.
Me and other peregrinos came here in the beginning of August and after checking in noticed that all the rooms were completely infested with bed bugs. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while because I found big dead ones underneath my mattress. We left the rooms around 22 pm without even sleeping in them. The host wasn’t there at that time and he didint answer my emails about the situation.
DO NOT STAY HERE ! The place is crawling with bedbugs. We found them it 5 different beds and had to leave the hostel at 10 at night to another hotel.
The review from a month ago is true. There are bedbugs at this hostel. There were adult and juvenile bedbugs crawling on our beds, when we brought it to the owners attention he moved us to another room. We checked those beds and found more adult bedbugs. He tried to downplay the situation and say that they were not a big deal and told us we should still stay there. He had a bottle of bedbug spray that he was spraying on the mattresses where we found the bugs. That spray alone cannot solve an infestation that is clearly in more than one room.
DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. The owner knows the albergue is FULL of bedbugs and didn’t tell anything to us. We woke up during the night and found out bedbugs on our beds, in the walls and in the bathroom. DO NOT COME HERE, it’s criminal.
