The restaurant is fabulous - staff are very friendly and accommodate vegetarian requirements with delicious options. A wonderful view of the river makes for a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend the chestnut mousse for dessert!
Excellent value for money set price meal for 16€. Abundant home made food. Extensive choice of dishes especially desserts. House wine was good. Great & fast service from family run business so thanks Manuel. Spatious dining room with good rear garden views. I've been back since I posted my initial review and they have maintained standards so well done family! The chestnut mousse is the best dessert I've ever had in Galicia boy is it so good!
We stayed during our Camino. Rooms ok but the bathroom had a strong smell. Our room faced the road and was a little noisy. Our pilgrim dinner wasn’t nice and service a long with it was terrible. We felt like they really didn’t want us in the restaurant despite only having 2 other tables occupied. We had to sit right up near the tv and kitchen the menu was a little confusing. The quality was terrible like it was last weeks leftovers. Worst we have had on our trip. We couldn’t really eat it. We didn’t feel welcome at all and felt like we were an inconvenience. Our meals are included but we still paid for them with our booking but felt like they were giving us the left overs. But on the other hand the breakfast was nice and the morning staff was very friendly and helpful.
Gorgeous gardens on the river, with their own access to swim. The room was gorgeous too. Full restaurant.
Really welcoming and friendly service. Excellent food. Rooms were clean and comfortable, simple and with great views to the rear. Good location on the Camino de Santiago and beautiful by the river.
