Albergue Peregrinos Santa Ana

The couple was nice and the room was clean but cold, very basic and small. There was no hot water when we arrived later in the day (3pm), as others have noted. It was just slightly warmer than cold, so we just quickly washed off. The wifi did not work in the room (#1), so we had to use our SIM data throughout our stay. The electric went out when we were there but came on again within 30 minutes. There used to be a kitchen area but it's not maintained, so we couldn't use it. I'd suggest avoiding this route all together and going towards the Villar de Mazarlife route, as this town is depressing with few food options, while this variant of the Camino trail is on a busy road all day and also half of the next morning. The alberque has coffee in the morning for purchase as well as a bar. Soap was provided in the rooms. It was expensive at $70 for what was provided, but we booked last minute on booking.com.

Very nice and accommodating host. Had a nice big cup of coffee and croissants in the morning. Would recommend a stay but would still think fans should be a must in these conditions. I would really feel pain for the pilgrims in bunk beds in such searing heat.

We stayed in this albergue as part of the camino in September 2024. The rooms are pretty basic, but they are clean and comfortable. Additional blankets are provided as the rooms are also quite cold. The pilgrim menu at dinner time was excellent, and service also very good. The town is just one of the worst we've stayed as part of the camino. There are lots of alternatives a little further.

Nice albergue with double rooms and shared bathroom.. Clean and basic Friendly couple running it. Nice sitting out area and place to wash and dry laundry. Good communal dinner for 13eur-complete with after dinner shots of local alcohol. Hint: Room was 38E via online,site but 30E direct.

Wonderful host, spacious area to relax tired body. They offer excellent paella and you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!
