Albergue Laganares

One of the best albergue’s I’ve stayed at between St Jean and Leon. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Nice bar area with a garden filled with flowers, a nice peaceful area to relax. Tasty communal meal and a long table great for meeting new people. The beds are new so no squeaking when people move an inch. Overall great experience and I recommend staying off stage at this great place.

Posting from my partner who had a horrendous experience here: Horrible service. The woman is very grumpy and thinks she’s running a 5-star hotel they way she barks at guests and her poor bartender. The dinner was disgusting. The pasta was not al dente. It was actually raw. The rest was frozen. I watched it get taken out of the freezer. It was a rainy, chilly day. I was soaked through and through and they didn’t even have the decency to turn on the heat. Don’t recommend staying here at all.

What a wonderful place to rest your tired body and your soul. This is the BEST albergue in all Camino. Because of the lovely host who welcomes you with open arms. The rooms are clean n spacious, dinner was made with a care and delicious. Thanks Daniella and Pascal.

Heartwarming Italian owners :) felt like opening up their home for us! With delicious Italian food (a variety of healthy food selections!) and a beautiful Albergue with a garden in the backyard. Modern, lovely style. One of the bests (if not the best Albergue we stayed in!). Had free watermelon, a community dinner with Italian pasta & Greek fruit yoghurt! Played yenga. Just loved it! Thank you ❤️

One of the best albergues on the Camino. The pilgrim's menu is excellent, and the people running the place are kind and attentive. Thank you! Definitely make a stop here!
