Albergue Karma

I really enjoyed my stay at this albergue. The house is old and full of character, with a mystical atmosphere that makes it feel unique. Everything is clean and well-maintained. I especially loved the beautiful tiles in the bathroom – very charming. The dining room is located in the basement, which adds a cozy and distinctive touch. The host prepared a delicious and hearty dinner for us – much appreciated! The sleeping room is spacious, with plenty of room to move around and feel at ease. The cool temperature inside the house was perfect after a hot day on the road. A special thank you to the host: when I mentioned that my knee was hurting, he not only asked if I needed help but also explained how to properly apply kinesiology tape for my type of pain. He even applied it for me, and that day turned out to be the most comfortable one for my knee. I’m very grateful.

Josu is a very generous and incredibly knowledgeable host. He helped many of us with our aches and pains from the Camino as he had a lot of experience in the Camino and even treated our wounds. Aside from being received warmly , we found the Beds super comfortable and we got the best sleep out of the Camino so far because the dorms are small. The dinner was really good and very well priced. The house is old and has lots of character. If you are walking the Camino, it is worth walking past Los Arcos and staying in Sansol for an authentic experience at Karma. Muchísimas gracias

Very nice old house. Amazing dinner. Warm room and hot shower 🚿 Everything that need for pilgrim. Better to make reservation, they have just 8 beds and if you want to have dinner, you need to ask about it, because hospitaleiro need time to prepare it. Pasta was perfectly prepared. I am vegetarian and for me was spacial food, and it was amazing. Highly recommend 👌

I had an amazing stay at this Albergue. It is in a wonderful location right in town and well signed. When I got there, I was greeted so warmly by the host and everything was taken care of. Best of all he showed us so much kindness and compassion and made us the most amazing dinner and helped us all have a wonderful conversation. The warmness of the atmosphere here put everyone in a good mood and helped us connect. it was one of my best days on the whole Camino.

Good accommodation ✅ All was clean and value for money. Great dinner time with vegetable ensalada as a starter and then delicious pasta carbonara… it was wow! 😉 Thanks for “cuidado” a Josu, the owner. Camino de Santiago (9-10 apr - day 6 ) Visited in April 2025
