We’ve been staying in a variety of private room Albergues for our Camino walk. I have to say that so far this is the best value we’ve found. Beautiful private rooms, bathrooms, a breakfast, free access to the kitchen filled with wonderful food! It’s a 75-80 Euro per night treasure in Sansol that only charges 55 Euros!! If you have the energy to walk through Los Arcos and onto Sansol, this is a special albergue to overnight in!

Bed bugs! I was so excited to stay here for the night, and the place looked cute. Sadly it turned out to be completely infested! I turned back the bed cover and saw a bed bug (pictured). I looked on the floor & saw more. What’s (maybe) worse, the owner became a total emotional wreck. She tried to accuse me of bringing them and called me uncultured & rude when I said I’m upset and have to leave. I have a severe allergy so don’t really have a choice but to leave, but you’d think she’d be apologetic instead of yelling at a distraught customer! She did come with a steamer (good, though seems to indicate this wasn’t the first such event). I wound up running to another place like a refugee, and paying an arm & leg in dryer fees :-( Horrible experience made worse by owner’s lack of professionalism.

Very nice, clean and cozy hostel. Perfect fort a good rest after a long day at El Camino de Santiago. Good breakfast. The staff is super friendly and does everything to help.

Great accommodation with a view over the rolling hills. Nice courtyard to sit under an olive tree with a coffee or wine.

I rarely give 5 stars for anything: restaurants, hotels, experiences, relationships. Anything. This little BnB is a real treasure. 45 Euros a night, private room, breakfast. It suffers from being located in the first town out of Los Arcos for pilgrims so not quite far enough to be a stopping point. (Los Arcos comes after a long haul out of Estella so pilgrims are not inclined to walk further) That’s a shame as this is easily the best place we’ve stayed on the Camino.
