Group of 22 people who every year do a section of the Camino de Santiago. This year we were in Leonese lands, the Maragato area. We have stayed in the three La Calista houses, in Santa Catalina de Somoza. We have been great!! Super well-equipped houses. Unbeatable location to do the trail. They are Houses that make everything easy and comfortable. Thank you very much Vicente for your hospitality. We have spent some unbeatable days and we took a little piece of León with us to Barcelona. A hug and until next time!!
We stayed in Calista III, a group of 5 friends to spend the weekend. The house is good, clean, with a great patio, the heating is very top. Although we noticed a certain lack of care in some things, it feels like no one has been there in a long time. Some kitchen utensils are damaged, the pans are ready to be thrown away. The grill was unusable, we bought one in Astorga and some barbecue tongs. The appeal of foosball is a fallacy, it is useless, it can barely be used. There are no cleaning products. The landlords are very nice, and they are wall to wall for anything, they have let us leave later than the agreed time so it's very good.
A very cozy, clean and very comfortable house. Very good heating and hot water. The super friendly owner. Highly recommended.
We have just come from this wonderful rural house where we spent an exceptional weekend. We have stayed in La Calista I and II since we were 21 people. The houses are joined by a patio. The largest has a very large living room where we could all fit in to chat or play. It also has a dining room with a huge table where the 21 of us also entered. Numerous very nice rooms and many with a bathroom attached or next to it. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We have already been there once and we will repeat, because the area is great to visit and the house offers everything you need, being also very cozy.
