Group of 22 adults and hundreds of children! Everything was great!! The houses were very clean and warm!! We lacked nothing!! It was top-notch!! We had a wonderful Easter weekend.
A group of 22 people who walk a section of the Camino de Santiago each year. This year we explored the lands of León, specifically the Maragato region. We stayed in the three La Calista houses in Santa Catalina de Somoza. We had a fantastic time! The houses are incredibly well-equipped. The location is unbeatable for walking the Camino. These houses make everything easy and comfortable. Thank you so much, Vicente, for your hospitality. We had an unforgettable few days and we're taking a little piece of León back with us to Barcelona. Until next time!
We stayed in Calista III as a group of five friends for the weekend. The house is fine, clean, with a great patio, and the heating is top-notch. Although we noticed a lack of care in some things, it feels as if no one has been there for a long time. Some kitchenware is worn out, the pans are ready to be thrown away. The grill was unusable; we bought one in Astorga and some barbecue tongs. The foosball table's appeal is a fallacy; it's unusable and barely usable. There are no cleaning products. The owners are very nice, and everything is right next to each other. They let us check out later than the agreed-upon time, so it's great.
We've just returned from this wonderful country house where we spent an exceptional weekend. We stayed in La Calista I and II, as there were 21 of us. The houses are connected by a courtyard. The larger one has a very spacious living room where we could all fit to chat or play games. It also has a dining room with a huge table that could easily accommodate all 21 of us. There are numerous lovely bedrooms, many with en-suite bathrooms or bathrooms right next to them. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We've stayed there before and will definitely return, as the area is fantastic for exploring and the house offers everything you need, plus it's very welcoming.
Country house with 6 bedrooms, open-plan kitchen, interior patio with barbecue, children's playroom, and 4 bathrooms. Very nice and spacious. The owner is friendly and attentive. It's advisable to buy bottled water because the tap water comes from a tank.
