My son and I had a great sleep for staying here. It’s super clean and cozy. We stayed here in a big rainy day. The host kept us warm. There is no restaurant around here in early April. Only one pizza shop can ask for delivery. Although we only ate our own food finally, we loved this place a lot! Thank you and highly recommended!
Final stop before Santiago in Mid October. Clean and quiet.
Nicely spaced out beds with personal lights and a USB point underneath (although this isn’t obvious). Sadly no blankets which means doors and windows stay closed and it then smells. A modern kitchen has NO utensils - absolutely none so couldn’t even make a cup of tea. Also beware the bar/restaurant next door was not open in the evening and the restaurant back 1km did not open its kitchen until 8pm
This is a gem! Really clean and spacious because probably very few pilgrims come to sleep here, everyone wants to sleep in O Pedrouzo. The lady hospitelaro’s name is Maria and she is so lovely that I decided to stay here instead. We had a good laugh about the kitchen with no utensils - a signature of the Xunta de Galicia’s otherwise perfect public albergues for pilgrims. I happened to have food in my backpack so it wasn’t an issue, but you’ll probably have to walk a bit to a nearby restaurant otherwise. I’m so happy that I decided to stop here instead of following my plan. Highly recommended (just note the food situation).
Perfectly adequate, just no food nearby.
