Acceptable bed, friendly staff. It is quite far out from the cathedral though with no easy transport to get there.

The cleanliness was generally good, and the location was decent. However, there were some significant issues that impacted our stay. The main circuit breaker kept tripping whenever the dryer or the water heating system was running, requiring us to reset it every five minutes, which was quite inconvenient. During the night, the motion sensor lights in the dormitory kept turning on every couple of minutes when someone moved on the top bunk beds, disturbing our sleep. Additionally, the ladder to the top bunk was not securely attached, making it a potential safety hazard. Overall, while the albergue has potential, these problems need to be addressed for a more comfortable stay.

It was not a good sleep there. The electricity shut down in every 3 minutes, if someone was using the washmashine. Turning it on again, switched on the lamps in the sleeping rooms, it was quite impossible to fall asleep. The sleeping rooms also have motion sensors. If somebody moved a little bit, the light switched on again. Please get of those lamps. Altough the place is clean, the location was ok. I would not stay here again, because the bright lights. You can use the dryer and the washmashine properly if you are there early enough. In the afternoon and night it keeps shut down the electricity in the whole complex.

Nice hostel in the outskirts of Santiago although close to the Camino de Santiago entering the city. Lovely staff. Spacious and comfortable dorm. Good kitchen and seating area. My only criticism is the motion activated light in the dorm that is far too sensitive. It's unnecessary too as there is enough light from various other sources. It goes on and off all night. Linen sheets and a towel are included in a price that's good for Santiago.
