5 / 5 Great albergue! Check in was a breeze. Kitchen doesn’t have a stove, but everything else works well. They do your laundry for 8€ I think it was between 1pm and 6pm. I mentioned I wanted to go to Finisterra, and he walked me through getting the Monbus tickets online and what times to get. There is a little store near by and a hotel with good food down the street. It is farther from the cathedral than I would have liked, after walking 44km, but it’s a quieter area so I appreciate that. Shower were cleaned and stocked, good shower.
5 / 5 The owner Javier is very sweet and helpful. The room has a lot (>20) of beds with only curtains separating them, but you have enough space and a locker. Fine for hostel standards.
The hostel is 15 minutes walking from the center, but that makes the location way more peaceful. Worth it in my opinion.
4 / 5 Nice place for a night! Host was very helpful to let me in after 10pm and gave me great instructions on how to get there by bus. Provided sheets, blanket and even a towel! (Rarity in albergues). Check out 9:30 which is pretty good too. Bathrooms weren’t many and not too clean in the morning but that’s more about the pilgrims than of the place :) a bit outside of the center but a nice walk during the day!
4 / 5 I enjoyed my stay in a hostel after a quite long cycling activity. Everything was clean and I enjoyed my stay for two nights! We were around 32 people, however everyone was respecting the quite hours and the environment was quite silent.Owner was helpful, too. Only thing could be improved is a kitchen,it needs to be equipped a bit more...
The rest was great for a budget stay!
5 / 5 Great albergue, stayed here for one night. Service was excellent, the host even let us leave our bags there the next day so we could visit Santiago without carrying extra weight!
Clean and tidy, we had a private bunk bed room. There is a kitchen area with fridge and microwave, no cooker. £15 for the night
