DECEPTION, DECEIT We booked 20 days in advance at this dump. The credit card was charged immediately. At check-in the hotel was closed. A notice on the wall asked us to call a telephone number (620 80 10 57). I tried several times without success. When I got through, the person said they would send codes by email. It took us hours to access the flat (which looked clean). A hotel with no reception, no service, we felt like dirt. There was no-one to turn to for help. It was terrible! The booking included car parking and breakfast. Our car spent two nights on the street because there is no car park (as promised before booking). Breakfast is served in a bar/hotel 400 metres away. It was raining and we couldn't have breakfast. And many other guests we met in front of the building were equally disgusted. DECEASING. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES. WE DON'T RECOMMEND IT.... THEY CHEATED US AND THEY WILL CHEAT YOU!!!
The personal service, happy staff, and 100% availability to guest needs, warrants a 5 star experience at this family run hotel. Laundry service was a bonus and very quick. English was excellent and very helpful when I unexpectedly needed to find a physiotherapist. I would not have finished my Camino journey without their help. The rooms were clean, reasonably appointed and the breakfast was more than enough to start the day.
Really helpful communication with the hotel, room was very spacious and clean. It’s also quiet if you’re looking to rest after a Camino! It is a good 15 - 20 min walk to the centre, once I found the location it was fine for me. Thumbs up for this place, excellent value 👍
This is a very reasonably priced hotel for folks wanting to go to Santiago, but don’t want to spend a lot of money! The only downside is it is about 2.5 km from the city center, which can feel really far if you are a pilgrim like me who already walked really far! The service is great- it’s clean, simple, and a great price for Santiago.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, lovely small hotel, Ruben and his Father were kind and considerate..let me have my room until I left in the evening, let my sister bring her cases from hotel San Lazaro until our evening departure. Good location, bed brkfast very reasonable. Many thanks to all staff. Owen Gallagher.
