Hotel Windsor

I found the staff wonderful! Luis and Jose were exceptionally kind and extremely helpful to me. the Hotel Windsor has extremely good energy, lovely housekeeping staff, the bed was great & it is a beautiful building; very clean & well maintained. I had a bathtub! 😁

The property offers clean, well maintained rooms, that are quite basic. There is no safe, iron nor tea/coffee provision in the room. The location is great though; a 10m walk from the Cathedral with plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The breakfast costs only €5 pp, with cereal, bread, fruits and coffee. Overall good value.

It's not worth the price charged, it doesn't have a good value for money. There's a lot of noise during the night, the furniture is old. The room has a window facing a weird place where there's no sunlight, somewhat claustrophobic. I do not recommend it and would not stay here again.

Super location with well presented and clean rooms. Air conditioning was very good and near silent, powerful shower. Breakfast included fruit, yogurt and cheese which was good to have many places just serve sugary things.

I stayed there after my Camino Portugués end of December 2022. My room was quite big for me alone, well prepared and clean. The bathroom was nicely designed, the towels where clean and cosy, and there was a hairdryer too (to dry my wet shoes 😅) The temperature was quite nice for winter, you can also adjust the room temperature if you wanted that. The staff where friendly and caring. 👍 Because I didn't book breakfast, I can't tell anything about the dining room. But all in all the house, even though it's just a 2 star hotel, was in a good condition, well maintained and well managed, according to what I experienced.
