1 / 5 I stayed at this albergue at the end of my Camino and was very disappointed. The service was awful from the moment I arrived. The receptionist, a woman with dark brown hair, was incredibly rude and dismissive, making me feel unwelcome after a long and exhausting journey. Basic courtesy was completely lacking, and any questions I asked were met with impatience or outright hostility.
On top of this, we were unable to leave our bags in the ample free space in the alburge even though our flight was well after check out time.
After walking hundreds of kilometers, this was not the kind of reception I expected. I would not recommend this place to any fellow pilgrim.
2 / 5 Worst hostel experience after 13 days of doing Camino. The beds are extremely uncomfortable , all three of us had back pain. The room was cold and the heater didn’t work. The bathrooms are very uncomfortable to use, small and stuffy with doors that open inward- the showers turn off by themselves and you can’t regulate the water temperature. The room locks are loud. And it’s 20 minute walk from the center. Would avoid if possible.
5 / 5 There is a nice and clean kitchen, the rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is super friendly. When we arrived there they welcomed us kindly and showed us our rooms. Later they told us that there was a room left which was pretty much empty (one other girl stayed there) and offered us to change the room. We only stayed there one night and when we noticed that we lost something in the hostel we called them and they patiently helped us out. They even sent us photos of what we were missing and later shipped it to the address we sent them:) Thank you so much!
5 / 5 Best nights sleep I had the whole trip. Silence in the room, clean lovely bunk bed that didn't shake or move. Plugs near the bed, little lights under each bed. Lockable big size cupboards for your backpacks right next to the bed. Curtains to separate your areas off. Great showers, a big glass cabinet full of creams, minor medicines, shampoos to use etc. Great staff too! Can't go wrong, worth the money.
4 / 5 Staff treats guests as €. 13€ to be exact.
The bunk beds are full size, so the person in the lower bunk can sit up straight. Plush blankets are provided. I think there are 16 beds per room and there are doors between bedrooms as well as a for to the kitchen and one for the bathroom area to keep the bedrooms quiet.
There is a kitchen with coin-operated stove (,60€ for first 35 minutes), microwave, fridge. A few tables. And staff or other guests may interrupt you to clean while you're paying to cook your food quickly.
Showers are offered at 37°C and 39°C, depending on the stall you choose. They automatically turn off after 5 seconds. Yes, really.
WiFi works well. Grocery store is ~3 blocks away.
