⭐ 1/5 — Unbelievably disappointing and unsafe This was by far the most shocking and disappointing hotel experience of my life. In the middle of the night, while we were sleeping, someone broke into our room. The person turned out to be staying next door — but we are 100% sure that we locked our door. We have travelled our whole lives and stayed in countless hotels, and this has never happened to us before. We woke up terrified, screaming, and I had to physically push this woman out of our room. I immediately went downstairs to inform the reception, and instead of helping, the receptionist gaslighted me by suggesting that “maybe you didn’t close the door properly.” This is simply impossible. Once the door is closed, it cannot be opened from outside without a card. So either reception issued the wrong key card to this woman, or something much more intentional happened — but either way, our locked room was breached. I called the police, they came, investigated, and left. But at the end of the day nobody from the hotel apologized, took responsibility, or even showed basic empathy. Instead, they mansplained, dismissed us, and treated us as if we were making things up. If this could happen to us, it can happen to anyone. This place is absolutely not safe. Beyond this terrifying incident, the hotel is simply bad: • Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all. • Bathroom cleanliness is mediocre. • After every shower, the entire bathroom floods. • The heating is inconsistent — freezing during the day and morning, only slightly better at night. I have already contacted Booking.com and we will be resolving the issue through them, but I am writing this review to warn other travelers. Please take this seriously and do not waste your time or risk your safety with this establishment. This should never have happened — especially in a city like Santiago de Compostela. Stay somewhere else.

So very good. Front desk is very friendly and understanding. Owen spoke perfect English, and patiently helped me to locate my luggage. I’m also grateful for Alberto, who kindly helped call a big taxi for us to fit 3 luggages and get to the Santiago bus station. Room is clean and more than enough. Breakfast buffet is delicious with a nice view of the town. Loved my stay here, everything is perfect.

Five stars against hostel expectations. Room was clean and shower was good. Comfortable bed with sheets and towels provided. Breakfast selection was better than I’ve had in some hotels. Exceeded expectations.

I stayed in a single room for two nights. The room was small and very basic, but everything worked well, was clean and it offered good value for the money. The common areas were inviting, clean, and spacious, and the upper floors offered great views! A buffet breakfast was included, though I wish there had been more vegan options.

Good Accomodation for the price. Central but quiet. Clean Showers. Toilets next to room. Large Living and Meeting Areas. I can recommend.
