I have a wonderful experience during my 2 night stay. Very friendly and welcoming, helped from reception to my room and felt very special. Genuine, warm and wonderful service. My room was very nice indeed and extremely comfortable, the bed was perfect and the shower superb. When I return, I would choose an external room to feel less enclosed.
Perfect hotel. Nice room with a good bed and great bathroom with shower. Room cost only €39. For € 9 per person you get a delicious breakfast buffet with everything you could think of (including freshly squeezed orange juice). Very friendly staff. Perfectly located on the edge of the beautiful old town. An underground car park is 100 meters away where you can park for €15.50 per day. Rooms on the first, second and third floors. RECOMMENDED!
Super helpful receptionist, Central location, room was great , view was not what we were expecting. Would have loved bigger softer towels. Security was good , limited storage no drawers , as we had a room for three . I would recommend it for a City break , right on the 6a bus route from the airport.
My time here started out really wonderful. However, I realized shortly that my fridge didn’t work. I asked for a replacement. They were quick to replace it the following day. Unfortunately, the replacement didn’t work either. So I had to ask for another replacement. They fixed that, and I finally had a working refrigerator. What really bothered me was that the last night I was there, I was rudely interrupted at 9 PM. I was blamed for a water leak on the floor below me. The gentleman who blamed me was not nice at all. I tried to explain that I had recently seen some water backing up from the shower, and maybe that was it. He completely ignored me and blew me off, again, claiming this was my fault, and likely because I was female. The issue was unable to be solved- again, because it was NOT my fault. I was unable to show that evening or the following morning. When I checked out, I was provided no discount or compensation for this destruction and rude behavior. Not even a free breakfast (breakfast is not included). I reached out via email, and asked about the discount. Was completely blown off. Overall, truly disappointing stay.
Quaint hostel beside Praza de Galicia, on the edge of the Casco histórico. 5 mins walk from Praza do Obradoiro. Rooms clean and staff friendly and helpful. A good base for a few days exploring Santiago!
