This hotel has a huge humidity problem. They have dirty bathrooms covered in mold that looked like they have never been cleaned. 85 euro to stay somewhere like this is absolutely disgusting. The staff/family that run the place are nice but they should know better than to let people use mold infested rooms. This is a health hazard!
For a guest house this was a super convenient location after completing our Camino in Santiago at The Cathedral. We booked well ahead and had a room up on the top(3rd) floor. Out host was completely professional and friendly and from a room perspective it was a very clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom.
This hotel stay has actually really upset me. I'm a solo pregnant traveller with a small child and they put me in a room infested with mold. I had to sleep with the window wide open (freezing) to get some fresh air. I went to reception to ask for a change around 8pm and many times after but there was noone there and I rang and WhatsApp and no answer. I would have left only for I had a small child with me and it was dark. This place is disgusting and a scam. 85 euro to sleep in a room infested with mold. I have literally travelled the world and never seen a hotel room to appalling.
A lovely little hotel within 200m of the Cathedral. Terrace out the back for the sunshine and a quiet drink. Views to the hills and West if you are continuing your walk to Finsterre. The Camino is at the front door.
Very friendly staff, perfect location a few meters from the cathedral, nice & clean rooms with spacey bathroom! Cons: Walls are & you can her your neighbors, Wifi does not really work in the upper rooms.
