Stayed May 25th during their festa. Loved this place, friendly helpful owner. 1day I hope to be back. Thanks Michele
This albergue is incredibly charming and welcoming. The shared spaces are relaxing and cozy - perfect for meeting other pilgrims or taking a moment to recharge. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Every detail is well thought out. The owner is very kind and accommodating - she clearly cares about each of her visitors! A highlight of my Camino so far :)
I assume that this albergue is more private than the 2 other albergues in this pueblo and I need a bit of privacy for my stay after doing a long walk. Everything is perfect and quiet. Wifi signal is excellent. The dinner was regional produce.
This new albergue/hostel is the perfect place to rest and relax. Every detail is well thought out. It’s unique layout is filled with cozy, beautiful spaces to read, have a glass of wine, meet with friends… I had a delicious vegetarian lentil salad for dinner. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and even had fairy lights! An oasis along the Camino. The shared outdoor and indoor spaces are beautiful down to the smallest decorative details. I’d give another star if possible!
I have done several caminos in Spain but this place is the worst of the worst I have experienced. We made a reservation in booking and arrived shortly after 19:00 after long day walk - 40 km (pilgrim know that it means). First of all - first five minutes the place looked deserted with no one. Afterwards, very unpolite and disappointed lady showed up and in hurry registred us. Since I have read before in comments that they offer dinner and we had not eaten all day long because many places were closed, i was asking her if it is possible to have dinner - the answer was negative - argumenting that we have had to do reservation for dinner until 19:00 (!!! How could we guess this?!!) afterwards, since we were freezing, i was asking if it possible to buy tea, coffee? She mentioned - NO, althought, there is a sign on the wall that drinks are available. She even did not offer water to us. We got an offer to have a breakfast next morning but after such an attitude we did not want to spend any money there. The room was too cold. The owner demanded to take off shoes in the place there was no opportunity even to sit down and floor was terribly cold. The owner really should gain more experience from other rural houses and hostels how to take care of guests, including pilgrims. Usually, i have had very good experience with rural houses but this is an excepcion. Stay away from this place. She does not respect pilgrims at all. P.S. The response to my comment perfectly shows the attitude of the owner - she does not care that the question is not about taking of shoes - there was no place to sit down to take of shoes - good hotels and rural casas usually offer seat before and would find an opportunity to provide at least warm tea or coffee even place to dry boots …. Stay away from this rural casa
