Sorry to leave such a poor review. Given you see so many back packers it's not surprising that bed bugs were in the room. Left at 1:47 am, cleared out and slept with my wife in our tiny car. Though the accommodations were credited, I feel it's my obligation to raise awareness so that corrective actions can be manage by management and travelers can mitigate spreading bedbugs to the next unsuspecting hotel.
Right on the camino trail in Santo Domingo. Good choice for a night's stay on your walk.

The condition of the rooms is quite deplorable, in desperate need of renovation. The walls are falling apart, the curtains have holes in them, and worst of all, the cleanliness left much to be desired: the carpet stains were clearly visible, and the bathroom didn't inspire much confidence. If there's one redeeming feature of the hotel, it's the friendliness of its staff, and the breakfast wasn't bad at all; it's a shame that the maintenance of the facilities isn't up to par.
