Nice, modern, very clean. You get a liner and a pillowcase. The bed and the pillow have some leather kind of cover, I guess due to hygiene reasons. Make sure to bring towels, and a sleeping bag. If you forget, they sell it too. The room I am in has 13 beds, not too much. There are not too many showers, 3-3 in my level, but they are also clean and new. Very close to the camino way. There is a washer and a dryer (has additional cost). There is a big kitchen to eat, with a microwave and stove, some dishes. It is not allowed to cook in the mornings, only at night until 22:00. Check in from 13:00, doors closing 22:30. You have to leave before 8am. I absolutely recommend the place! Wifi works well.

This is a very basic place, it seems more aimed at groups of teens, school trips maybe. There are plenty of rooms all with 12 beds inside, however, there are only 3 showers and two toilets for everyone.

So far the worst and most expensive (!) albergue on my El Camino. A place with great potential, but managing / serving guy completely ignoring the needs of guests. Separated by glass and barbed wire at the entrance. Not to disturb him! The kitchen seems to be, yes, but for 60 beds in this albergue there is one large pot, one pan and a sieve. No kettle. Two dishwashers locked with padlocks. They have 6 rooms for 6 people and 2 for 12 people. Today, all guests, No. of 7 people cut down in one room for 12 people, although they could easily break us into 2-3 rooms. It's free. I would even pay a little more for a separate room. There is ONE, tight bathroom, 2 stands - toilet, shower sink - for all guests! 60. On every wall a warning - "Don't do it!", "This is not allowed!" ... Do they like tourists at all? Do they like pilgrims? Hospitality is a service of serving others, the art of hospitality. This is not here. Zero. Great location, clean, real bedding - these are in plus. They hung a crucifix and a picture with Jesus and they think it would do it all! That's not how it works. I advise against, run away, run away.

Probably one of the worse experiences I have had on all 800km of the Camino. I had booked online and was add to feel responsible for an issue that was entirely not my fault. I had to spend 20+ minutes on the phone with the booking site and have the site call the owner to get it resolved, despite showing the owner I had clearly paid and the issue was on his end. I was asked repeatedly to simply pay again, effectively paying twice for the same thing. Once it became clear that it was not my fault the owner was apologetic. My issue is not that there was a problem with the booking, but how the owner dealt with it and treated me while it was being resolved In the room, the cover for the emergency exit sign was broken which meant there was a flickering exposed light flashing all night. It was also impossible to turn on lights in the common areas when I was leaving early in the morning, which I haven’t experienced anywhere else along the Camino. It was also the worst experience I’ve had with other pilgrims in terms of noise and shining head torches during the night, although I suspect this is more to do with Sarria being a popular start point and so people are less aware of the affect they have on others

Hospitalero got mad at us for not cleaning other people's dishes, but was totally fine with the kitchen becoming a pub at night and it keeping everyone up. Nice kitchen, bare necesities to cook but good enough.
