A lovely place to start our Camino walk. The hosts were attentive, hospitable and communicated well enough for us to enjoy our one night stay. It’s a great location right on the Camino and surrounded by lovely cafes and bars.
Love the place...! Fantastic room overlooking all the activities on the street below and the owner and his family were very helpful and friendly. After staying in every type of accommodation between St Jean and Sarria, this was one of my favorite Camino stops.
Spectacular place to stay. Owners are friendly and sincere. Whole building is a credit to them and the builders. Really enjoyed our 2 days. Thanks to david for the eating tips. Google has the address wrong so watch for the number as you climb the street

Second time I stay at Casa Barran, and continue to look frward for the next opportunity. Very clean, crisp restauration, home feeling. Just a few rooms so book well in advanced. Concha and Luis, owners, make you feel as part of the family... wonderful.
