Marcella made our stay so perfect. She made us feel like family. Helped us with our luggage, gave tips on how to prepare ourselves for the Camino, made a restaurant reservation AND cooked us breakfast the next morning! Our host made the visit wonderful. Our stay was far above any others we experienced during our 34 days of walking the Camino. Best breakfast we have had in Spain. I recommend contacting the property directly, avoiding Booking or any other third party service.
What an awesome hotel with the most welcoming reception on the Camino so far (and that’s from Saint Jean PDP so that’s more than 30 hotels we’ve been to). We loved our corner room with European balconies, comfortablebeds and ensuite. Marcela was a joy to meet and couldn’t do enough to help us. She speaks excellent English and helped us get as much hot water as we needed for our fresh tea leaves!
Marcela greeted us and personally showed us our rooms. She also gave us directions for a walking tour of the town and recommendations for dinner. The next morning at breakfast Marcela gave us wonderful advice and encouragement as we started the Camino. I loved my stay here. There is an excellent garden terrace for relaxation, and the common rooms are comfortable as well.
