We had a private room for 2 which was comfortable and well heated. The dormitory area looks crowded and was strangely empty during our stay. Slightly odd is that the accommodation is at the back of the restaurant through the kitchen. Family run, by nice people. The restaurant is cosy with very very good pizza. Overall, a good place to stay.
Albergue itself is ok. However, at this place they mix primary/high school students with normal pelgrims. Albergue allows students without supervision of teacher ed, students keep screaming all evening and night. Worst night on the Camino.
Private room was perfect. very cute with a nice view and a good shower. The people were so nice and helpful.
The last Alburgue on the way out of town (Heading West) and by far the most beautiful and welcoming in Sarria. Found in the old part of town, the owner has made his dreams a reality, from the Fairytale sleeping quarters to the bohemian and eclectic bar, restaurant and kitchen. Time seems to have stopped here... I suggest you do too.
I loved this hostel. Quirky and some great vegetarian lasagne. Friendly staff.
