Hostel that, from what I’ve seen, looks very decent — beautiful common room, €12 for a bed which I think is very fair. Good points: No problem getting hot water in the shower, which is very pleasant after a long day of walking. One of the best Wi-Fi signals I’ve ever had — perfect when you need to plan the next day. Bad points: The smell in the bathroom was just awful — that stuff was brutal. No kitchen in the hostel, you have to go out to eat. That’s not something the hostel can control, but Jesus Christ, there were only elderly people there. I almost felt like I was in a retirement home at times, which was pretty strange. I might not have had the best experience, but to be fair, I still think it’s a very clean place that deserves to be considered as an option when passing through town.
They were able to get us into a room at last minute after running into a capacity issue in Portomarín. Very clean, quiet rooms, and simple rooms right off the Camino. Great value if you want a bed and your own shower.
The owner was very kind and explained us the whole trip, very welcoming. The commodities were not the best and there was any fridge nor microwave to bring your own food.
Quiet, not too crowded. Great hot fresh ground coffee. Small, be t decent bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi. Not too far from the Camino or Casco Viejo. Fridge, laundry, cafe available. Nice owners/managers. Clean. Good price.
Host worked with me being a late arrival. Room was good for a pilgrim. Clean.
