This was one of our stays on the Camino and it’s right near the church where one could get their passport and it is also on the route. We arrived in Sarria by bus at midnight and we walked here -from the bus depot - with no issues. It took us 15 minutes in the rain.
Close to center, (owner?) Very nice, restaurant on the ground floor opened early for coffee y pan tostada...we had a nice room (#3), very clean, beds comfortable and woke up to an amazing view. We were there in early June when the weather was nice. Not sure if there is a\c for warmer months though.
We arrived late to Sarria after renting bikes in Cebreiro for the long decent. The owner did not speak English but went out of his way to accommodate and helped us find lodging for the night. We also received the first solid meal we had had in days (great hamburger with bacon, eggs and fries). We ended up returning the next day before departing just to have a decent breakfast. Highly recommend stopping in here.
Great place, Pepisho, the host was amazing and made our night with music and great company!! Food is fab and great atmosphere. Stay! and say hi from Alexis :)
