Absolutely love this place—the vibe is so homey and Rocio, who runs it, was the sweetest! I’d definitely stay here again when I come back to Sarria because of her! She was so welcoming and turned my chaotic arrival into something 100x better.
Great little place just before Sarria main town. I got sick on my Camino and stayed here for a few days, recovering. Safe, clean, quiet, complete with a kitchen to store food and a warm fire in the reception. The owner is also very kind.
Location: Closer to the entrance of Sarria so roughly 500m to 900m to the main center. But there is a good restaurant just below the albergue. Private room: A bit dated but still comfortable. Good wifi. Service: Excellent attention to guests' needs. Very friendly and approachable. Amenities: There's a functional kitchen for those who like to make a simple meal or reheat food, or make tea or coffee.
It was the first night of "El camino de Santiago". Small room but very clean, and comfy, good location, heater was working well (it was less than 10 degree at night in March) Wifi worked ok just sometimes needed to find the certain spot with special gesture. Price was fine. The guy who received us, Alberto, was super nice, friendly and professional. He recommended us the very nice restaurant(bar)! (Think they also speak a bit easy English if that's not an issue to you) Recommended!
