Very average food, I would recommend to go to the old town for a meal
This place has the friendliest and most helpful staff! They were incredibly patient with my low-level Spanish and went above and beyond to help us. In fact, we weren’t even staying in the hotel! But we couldn’t get what we needed in our accommodation elsewhere, so we went there for breakfast and to get help when we couldn’t manage to get a taxi. They were wonderful! If they hadn’t been fully booked, we would have moved to this hotel!
Stayed during our Camino for our rest days. Reception and dinner staff very friendly. Room very large with big seating area. Dinner was good, we were the only people dining and had the pilgrim menu. Breakfast was a bit disorganised and not much on offer. Lots of large tour groups stay at this hotel and they all arrive at breakfast the same time so if you arrive after them the breakfast does not get refilled. A bit out of the way of the main town.
Came in with a recommendation from the Camino Tourist office and no idea what was going to be served. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food as well as the service. There were only two servers and yet the orders were taken promptly and the food served quickly. I barely spoke any Spanish so entrusted the server to send me whatever he thought was best. I had a soup to start, hake for a second course (with an option of salad instead of the usual fries), and an ice cream cake and coffee to finish - all for €15. Food was delicious and a generous portion. They also do breakfast here starting at 7am.
Excellent choice for discerning pilgrim. Modern, comfortable hotel with good restaurant. Excellent, professional service from Ana in reception and all waiting staff. Comfortable bed with enough space and nice bathroom. Wi-Fi good and TV ok. Air conditioning works fine. Nice and quiet in peaceful location but not too far from centre. Strongly recommended.
