We stopped by for a coffee and got an amazing Nutella pizza enough for 4 persons. They are serving huge pizzas. Great choice for a stop with a charm.
Outstanding Italian food with friendly and fast service. My wife and I split a wonderful salad, some baked lasagna, and a pizza, and everything was perfect. Glad we stopped here after a long day on the Camino.
After walking from Triacastela and just wanted a salad and a beer. I looked at the reviews then decided on Matias Locanda Italiana and how I made the right choice. The owner is a lovely man that is welcoming and warm. I had a cold Cana and a Caprese salad that was drizzled with a delicious pesto! And he also brought out a small slice of pizza just because and I have to say, it was wonderful. The menu looks great, all home made and a great place to sit, and enjoy your time in Sarria.
pizza is good, but a "large Pizza" for 17€ (Margherita) is way too expensive. The pizzeria with the backyard styled place looks lovely - ambiente is great - staff is friendly. Water is really cheap, i would recommend this place if you eat the salad with the tasty garlic bread!
Best pizza on the Camino and some of the best pizza I’ve had in my entire life… and I’m from Chicago and have lived in Italy! Definitely stop here. The owner, Matias, is so warm and kind and the rest of the staff is wonderful! They brought out guitars and we all sang together! Pepperoni pizza was fresh, hot, and the sauce was incredible, sangria well balanced, Tiramisu is also excellent as well as the panna cotta 😋
