People here are super nice and you can get a very nice vibe here !! Laundry cost €3.5 for washing and drying, which is good !! Have a rest here during your Camino trip is worth.

Stopped there on the Camino. The room is clean, new, the shower is comfortable, they provide plenty of sheets, so it's great value for a pilgrim wanting to rest a bit better one night. The restaurant was another great surprise, for 14€ we had a lot of choices for the first and second meal, same for dessert. Everything tasted amazing.

This was a great place to start our trekking round northern Spain. The only weak bit was the the family room had bog-standard metal bunks for all 4 of us which was a little uninspiring, but the location and building were beautiful, the food and drink was good and a good price. We had a lovely sunset walk, good dinner and easy access into Burgos next morning. A very good price for it all too.

Stayed one night on the Camino. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Staffs are attentive and friendly. Restaurant food is above average. However, if the restaurant manager herself comes across this review, please mind that her approach feels beguiling to give the client a mistaken order first to test the water and possibly minimize the loss, then also charge for a proposed substitute which was blown out of proportion. The server brought the wrong menu (racion de sepia) and apologized, saying that the restaurant would prepare the calamares I originally ordered if wanted. She was genuine and the food didn't look bad either hence I took the racion de sepia. Then I asked for a minimal serving of the calamres for a mere taste, which the server approved. Even the chef came up and showed me the squid in a teacup-sized plate. Instead I got a whole serving three to four times the size of the plate and was eventually charged for both menus. Only upon receiving the bills I was informed that the chef could only cook designated portions at a time. If the small serving was not possible, then the restaurant should have said it's not in the options than to give and charge. Things can happen. But the manager's unprofessional approach was the truly upsetting part. "We provided you with a service, so pay for it. Or you should have completely rejected the first menu." Does anyone not know that a service is given at a restaurant? Felt like a mean tactic stating the obvious to cloud the issue and belittle the client. The second part 'could have rejected', just as fishy aforementioned. I had taken the wrong order for the sincerity of the young server. Yet the manager's 'Show the mistaken order anyway oh well now it's your responsibility' stance was disgusting and made me regret taking any of the menu. However attentive the server and the chef were, I have point out that the whole team were contradicting each other. The team also had 2 hours to address the issue at some point, but I was blindsided at the counter when the dining was done. The manager did angrily give me the new bill without the mistaken order though. Shame that a stay in a reputable local accommodation left shady parts. The restaurant would help by having a consistent protocol, shared by everyone to settle possible mistakes.
