This pilgrim hostel gave us four pilgrims a very unfriendly welcome, and we got the impression that the landlady had no desire to accommodate pilgrims at all. The water in the shower was the best thing about the place. It was very nice and warm and clean, but there was no toilet paper left in the women's restroom in the morning... We were put in a six-bed room, and we weren't even allowed to open the window at night... There were real arguments about opening the window for a few minutes for some fresh air. The landlady was just as grumpy and unwelcoming in the morning. Not a good hotel, not recommended.
We had David as our server this evening, he was amazing. We needed to leave quickly as our albergue was closing and he made sure our service was fast, but was still very attentive. Food was good, and there was vegan and vegetarian options. Thank you!
It’s a decent and clean place to stay for a night. Very comfortable for a good night sleep! The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Don’t expect much from the food at the bar though. It’s okay but only ate there because of not having any other choice.
This hotel differs from many along the Camino de Santiago because they’re has plenty of activities from the pilgrims as well as locals who want to enjoy quality drinks and food. They have very nice hotel quality rooms that are well appointed and very comfortable. Friends told me that the beds offered here are also very nice.
A very nice Albergue that also has a restaurant on the ground floor. The facilities were nice and the food was decent as well (although the portion size of the mains could be bigger). Shout-out to our waiter who provided excellent service while managing a full restaurant solo.
