A True Haven on the Camino There are places along the Camino de Santiago that nourish your body, and there are places that nourish your soul. This Albergue is unmistakably both. From the moment I walked through its magical doors, I knew I had found a sanctuary. The warmth and genuine care of the two remarkable hosts, both pilgrims themselves, enveloped me like a long-lost friend returning home. Their kindness, attention, and boundless love are not just a blessing to every weary traveler who passes through; they are an example of humanity at its very best. In their presence, I felt more than just cared for—I felt seen, understood, and cherished. Their joy is infectious, and their way of being is a beacon of inspiration for all who have the privilege to meet them. This is not just a stop on the Camino; it is a place of healing, of renewal, and of deep connection. The homegrown food, lovingly prepared, does more than fill your belly—it nourishes your spirit. Every bite is infused with the care and dedication that these hosts pour into everything they do. The meals are not just delicious; they are a testament to the healing power of food made with love. I leave this Albergue not just rested and well-fed, but profoundly touched. With all my love, sincerity, and deepest gratitude—thank you. Your light shines brightly on the Way, guiding all who are fortunate enough to find it. Buen Camino my friends. I will see you both again. Until then keep making your dream 💛

Casa Susi is a wonderful stop along the Camino Frances. Vermin and Susi were so welcoming and kind. The Casa is lovely, clean, and has all single beds. A refreshing flavoured cool water was offered on arrival. The food was all homemade, vegetarian and amazingly delicious!!! They have a nice courtyard and river in the backyard, nice for soaking tired feet! Highly recommend, your heart will be warmed.

Casa Susi made us feel welcomed and fed us wonderfully with an incredible dinner including fresh vegetables from their garden! What a great experience!

Casa Susi was the most welcoming albergue on my Camino. The hosts Susi and Fermin had so much love and passion for the Camino and were so welcoming. The dinner was one of the best of my whole trip

Superb. Friendly, cosy, well appointed small albergue run by Aussie Susi and husband Fermin (sorry about spelling). 10 single beds in a lovely dorm with great bathrooms. Lovely communal dinner with the warm and welcoming hosts and good breakfast. Best albergue experience on the camino so far - highly highly recommended.
