Unfortunately the place was dirty particularly in the showers and both room we stayed in were riddled with Bedbugs so badly that they were climbing up the walls and the only safe space was the floor. The sheets were covered in old blood stains and were not clean. Definitely the worst we have seen in the past 3 weeks of doing the Camino. We also had dinner at the accommodation which was nice however awkward with the host sitting on their phone next to us waiting for us to finish.

Hands down, the best place I have stayed on the Camino. The hospitality and welcoming from the 2 hosts was lovely. The hosts could speak great English and were just so delightful. The beds were comfy, and the sheets and towels were perfect. It was so nice to sleep in a comfy bed with a nice dooner. They even did my washing. I asked where the washing area was, and they said no, no, we will do it for you.. And the dinner was delicious, best meal I have in an Albergue. Overall 10 out of 10.

After an immensely difficult day of hiking on the Camino, I arrived in Trabadelo at 8:30 pm. I’d attempted the Dragonte Route and had to turn back when the day got too late and the route finding proved very challenging to navigate solo. All the accommodations in town were closed and the hosts of this wonderful hostel took me in, along with a lovely French couple, even though all the rooms were full. They let us stay on the couches and welcomed us with smiles and kindness. The hospitality I experienced at this albergue warmed my heart and lifted my spirits on what had been my hardest day on the Camino. I recommend any traveler/pilgrim to stay here—and to talk with the lovely owners, who are the best people.

Stopped for breakfast per good reviews. Owner was rude acting as if serving us breakfast would be an imposition and charged us 16EUR for two coffees, four pieces of toast, and two small cups of hot water for our children. We protested and he said he would charge us 8EUR but as we pulled out our money he then kept saying he would be calling the cops on us as if we weren’t trying to pay?

The best albergue I have stayed at while on the Camino. Two single beds in the rooms, clean towels, blankets and sheets, the beds are already made for you. Nice and welcome surprise after the bunk beds, disposable sheets for pillows and mattresses/sleeping bag routine. Quiet, calm place, no crowds, the hosts are nice and welcoming and the food is delicious as well. This is the ideal place after a long walk.
