From the photos it looks a bit old, but it's a really lovely place to stay for pilgrims, especially in summer! Manu puts in worlds of effort to make each individual feel comfortable and safe. It's a short walk to the main Camino strip where there are lots of restaurants. Plus, there is storage for bicycles if you are riding the Camino. I absolutely loved my stay here at Albergue Aitzenea 😁
Manu is a super kind person. Once you enter this albergue you feel like home. There are scented candles and some nice eastern music for background. There are beers and other refreshments available. The bathrooms are very clean and more than enough for the number of people staying. Beautiful terrace where you can have your time and hang your clothes to dry under the sun.
everything is so good the owner was so kind withe everyone and supper chill, he washed all our clothes and was supper kind with no matter what we asked. All the showers were supper good and so were the bathrooms.
This albergue is perfect. Manu the owner is generous, kind and makes you feel right at home. It has everything and more a pilgrim needs and is surrounded by beautiful nature. There is a place to store bikes. His daughter has even started a wax stamp business for credentials which are incredible and cost as little as 1 euro! Thanks again Manu and Itzia.
Well located on the Camino trail. Very restful atmosphere in the Albergue, and host was very supportive.
