We checked in after 8 pm, after a very long hike where we were so tired and looking forward to getting showered and rested. The hotel is the last hotel in town and very far from everything... when we arrived the door was locked and we rang the bell... after a few minutes someone came on the line and they were not friendly, then they buzzed us in, but we weren't fast enough to get the door and we had to buzz back, where we had to start the process over from the start. Then we got inside and were waiting for the front desk clerk, who never came. Finally, we called again and said, 'how could you just leave us sitting here?, we are tired.' It turned out that they have zero service after hours, and you have to check in remotely. It is a self service hotel. There is no one, manager, anyone on site. to assist. The video screen inside kept timing out while we were checking in, and we would have to start over again with a new voice from a different location it seemed and it was an agonizing experience. I will NEVER book this hotel again. I am not a stranger to staying in a hotel, all kinds all over the world... this one is the absolute worst. Terrible interface with staff. Buyer beware! I will say though that the room was nice, clean and white, the furnishings looked like old outsoor patio furniture and though it had air conditioning, the A/C had a disturbing humming sound that would repeat every 10 - 20 seconds. Don't know what the story is with that. I'm sure checkout will be easy though, we will just leave.
Nice hotel in the camino Frances at a great value. Room was clean, spacious, and had a big window with a lovely view of the mountain. Bed was confortable and bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower was good. Breakfast included Friendly staff.
This is a fairly new and super clean country hotel. They even have single rooms, which is great for solo travellers. Super clean bathroom and shower stall with great water pressure. A large breakfast is included in the price and is served in a restaurant a few meters up the street.
Sara was wonderful at the reception, very helpful and kind, her English is excellent. The room was very pleasant and good value. A wonderful breakfast was included. Highly recommended
I stayed in room 202 last night. All the front desk and breakfast services are fine; however, there are plenty of bedbugs in the room. I really cannot feel asleep due to the fact that they are kept trying to bite me…
