Clean! Good breakfast. We reserved a balcony room with Mountain View. After a couple minutes in the room, we realized that is not what we received. We tried to locate the host again, including ringing the doorbell a couple times. But, to no avail. So, we stayed in the room we had. This was unfortunate, because the host was otherwise very nice and helpful. One of two windows in the room was sealed shut. The second window would not stay open, but we did manage to keep it open with the nice large wastebasket the room had. The bedside stands are very small. The shower is not really large enough for a grown man.
Stayed a night walking through, greeted upon arrival and he was great , we were covered in mud on our boots etc and he had slippers for us ready to go, rooms clean, tidy and warm , shower was ok but our was warm ( the others in the group was hot) , lovely common room area and lovely building
The staff here are very welcoming and pleasant. The rooms are satisfactory with mattresses being a little on the "bouncy" side and the toilet needed a proper clean. It's a little tired in places and frustratingly close to a noisy bar, so not the quiet night of rest we were hoping for.
On the Camino very pleasant accommodation and welcome. Comfortable bed. Johan prepared very nice Croque Madam in the morning. Thank you for your hospitality.
New owners at Casa Simon are so friendly and gave us a home 5,000 miles away from ours. Great rooms, friendly service, and an amazing central location in Triacastela.
