1 / 5 Did not sleep here as it really didn’t appeal. Below average cleanliness, stove was not allowed to use or out of service. Price is 15€ and I don’t think is justified
1 / 5 Its an Albergue in March so should be at its best but it was not clean and the manager who amongst all his rules also woke pilgrims up at 8:30 pm to take the 15euro when he said he would be back at 7pm.
Equipment broken, no kettle, a huge power lead running through the building and the showers were shudder worthy.
Also the code is on the doors so anyone can just walk in..... no security at all.
Unless you can't, I'd walk on the Roncesvalles!
Very disappointing.
5 / 5 We have just arrived. In fact, there is Wi Fi here. Although the Wi Fi code was not written on the wall, we send a WhatsApp message to José and he immediately sent me a WhatsApp message back with the wi fi code. The wi fi here is really good. There is a washing machine here and we washed our clothes here with no extra cost. For the price of €15 a night with wi fi, washing machine, microwave oven, fridge, hot shower, we can't ask for more. Highly recommend it.
5 / 5 This albergue is a self-service place. You get an access code and a map of this place from a supermarket in town. ( there is only one supermarket ) The bed is clean and nice. The bathroom and showers are spotless. There is a kitchen where you can cook and a free laundry machine.
It’s not fancy, but this place has everything you need. We had wonderful time here with 12 pilgrims together. A hospitalero came to collect fees (€10) about 7 pm. She also brought breakfast for us.
5 / 5 A clean and spacious albergue with comfortable beds (there were only about 12 beds) and good bathroom facilities. The entrance is by the side of the municipal building and down a flight of stairs. You can only get in via a code. The person in charge was waiting outside the building when I arrived, stamped my credencial, showed me where to put my wet shoes (there were newspapers handy to help them dry) and my poles, showed me to my bed and where the facilities are, and just told me to turn off the heating when I leave the following morning. I was the only one in the albergue that day. I could not use the kitchen facilities because of COVID protocols but there was a restaurant nearby where I got a good meal.
