2014-06-11 At that time I found a small, fine hostel here and was looked after courteously. Price/performance was absolutely right. After 10 years, I can remember this hostel more positively than negatively when I look at the photos and my notes. Thanks for the hospitality! :-)
I know they didn't receive many people because Astor is the next town, but they just boiled pasta noodles and gave me a can of tomato sauce for the meal. This is my first time seeing these guys. It's been a few years, but it's a place I can't forget. I don't mind the cold, but it was also the place where I spent the coldest night on my pilgrimage. I was in a bad condition, so I went to avoid the noisy Astorga, so just rest in Astorga. Don’t regret taking one more step for no reason.
It's open now. Although it appears on Google as closed. Excellent service. Very friendly. Very clean and everything comfortable and taken care of down to the detail. Delighted with this hostel. They also provide bar service for non-pilgrims.
Recently reopened hostel and bar just a few meters from the road. Excellent coffee at a very good price. The owners are sweet. Highly recommended.
It's all a big lie, there's no electricity and hot water, the owner knew we were coming and only showed up after 3 hours, plus he lied all the time, you should avoid it in a big way,,👎👎👎👎👎
